Merge Panda gives you coins from five places: every run (1 coin per 120 points), three daily missions (25 to 50 coins each), a daily gift that grows with your play streak (up to 75 coins), one-time achievements (20 to 300 coins each), and an optional ad after each run that doubles that run’s total. You can’t buy coins with real money, because the game has no in-app purchases. You spend them in the Panda Shop, which only sells cosmetics.

Run coins: score is the base #
At the end of each run, your score converts to coins at 1 coin per 120 points, rounded down. A 1,200-point run earns 10 coins, and a 3,000-point run earns 25. This is the steadiest source, and it rewards the same things that raise your score: long runs, big merges and combos. Our Merge Panda tips cover how to score more.
Daily missions: the biggest daily boost #
Every day you get three missions, and everyone gets the same three on the same day. They’re picked by date from a pool of 12, so reinstalling won’t reroll them. Progress counts at the end of each run, and coins are added automatically when a mission completes.

Two details make these easier than they look:
- “Make” missions count bigger pieces too. “Make 6 Rice Balls” counts any Rice Ball or higher tier you create. Bao Buns and Peaches made during the run all count toward it. “Grow a Watermelon” is also completed by making a Bamboo or anything above it.
- Combo missions count merges in a chain. “Chain a x3 combo” means three merges within the combo window, which is about 2.2 seconds between each. The combo badge on screen shows the count as it happens.
Check your missions before your first run of the day, and play toward them. The three missions together usually pay about 100 coins.
The daily gift and your streak #
The daily gift is a one-tap claim on the home screen. It pays 25 coins plus 5 for each day of your current play streak, with the streak bonus capped at 50:

Your streak goes up by one when you finish a run on consecutive days. Skip a day and it starts over at 1. The gift uses your streak at the moment you claim it, so if you played yesterday, finish your first run of the day before claiming and you’ll get the extra 5 coins. Streaks also count toward three achievements (3, 7 and 30 days in a row).
If you want a reminder, turn on Daily reminder in Settings. It schedules one local notification a day, and nothing is sent from your phone.
Achievements: 2,585 coins waiting #
Merge Panda has 22 achievements, and 21 of them pay coins once (the 22nd is the founder badge). Together they’re worth 2,585 coins:

Double Coins: when it’s worth watching #
After each run, the results screen can offer Double Coins: watch an optional video ad and the run’s total is doubled. That total includes the mission and achievement coins earned in that run, not only the score coins. So the offer is worth the most on a run that completes a mission or earns an achievement. A run that earns 20 score coins plus a 50-coin mission doubles from 70 to 140.
It’s offered once per run, and only when an ad is ready, so you won’t see it offline.
What can you buy in the Panda Shop? #
Everything in the shop is cosmetic. Nothing changes how the game plays.

Buying every item costs 4,750 coins. Skins change the look of the eight food tiers, but the top three tiers always stay pandas. How fast can you afford a skin? #
Here’s an example day: five runs averaging 2,400 points (20 coins each, 100 total), all three missions (about 100), and a gift on a two-day streak (35). That’s roughly 235 coins a day before any Double Coins, enough for a 400-coin skin in two days. Double a couple of runs and it comes sooner.

Frequently asked questions #
Can you buy coins in Merge Panda? #
No. Merge Panda has no in-app purchases. All coins are earned by playing, from missions, the daily gift and achievements, or by watching optional ads to double a run’s coins.
Do daily missions reset if you reinstall? #
The missions are chosen by date, so you’ll get the same three missions for that day after reinstalling. Your coins and progress, though, are stored only on your device, so deleting the app deletes them.
What’s the fastest way to earn coins? #
Complete all three daily missions, claim the daily gift after your first run, and use Double Coins on runs that complete a mission or achievement. Early achievements add a few hundred coins in your first days.
Do shop items make the game easier? #
No. Skins, themes, hats and titles are purely cosmetic. There are no power-ups for sale, and the only in-run help is the Panda Rescue, which comes from an optional ad once per run.
